So, I've had a very full spring and summer-it's been very exciting! However, as fun as it has been, I'm afraid  my stamping has suffered. I haven't stamped ALL summer! So, instead of showing my card art, I'll share a bit of the other art I've created over the last 5 months.

In April, my husband and I bought our very first trailer! We were very excited! However, most people would not have been so when seeing our purchase. We bought a 1965 Glendale Glendette. It's about 15 feet long, and it was in very rough shape- the roof vent had been leaking for so long... the owner had put up beer signs as his ceiling!

So, all of our spare time through May & June was spent tearing out & replacing the vent, the ceiling and cross beams, as well as painting the panelling. We bought foam & fabric, and I made new seat cushions, and a mattress for the upper bunk. I sewed curtains and pillows. We decided to forgo having a couch/bed on the bottom, and bought a regular mattress. It now stays a bed full time. We installed a backsplash and a new fridge, as the old one didn't work.
It's been quite a process, but we're so thrilled with how it's turned out!
We took it on a small weekend trip just outside of town for the July 4th weekend, and we've just returned from a 6 day trip to Georgian Bay.
Here are a few pictures of the final result.

Next spring, we tackle the outside!

Thanks for checking me out!

A New Start

So, today I have re-vamped my site. In the past, I thought I would share my thoughts and ideas on things... turns out I didn't have much to say. But I do have a lot to SHOW. I love stamping and making cards, and I constantly visit other blogs where crafters show what they've made, and let you know how they did it. So I've decided it's time for me to get on board and do the same. I hope you bear with me as I learn how to do this. As I sit here typing, I realize that I do not know the first thing about how to add pictures here, or how to share all of great promotions from Stampin' Up!- but I will learn!
Here goes nothing...

Woohoo!
So this is a card I made last week for my grandmother's 94th birthday. Yes- 94- and she still lives in her own home! She is an awesome lady. I'm sorry the picture isn't great- I snapped it quickly with my I-phone before I gave it to her, because I had forgotten to take a good picture with my camera.
Here are the details:
Card stock: crumb cake, wisteria wonder
Stamps: Swallowtail, Curly Cute
Ink: wisteria wonder
Accessories: 1/2 inch vanilla seam binding (sponged with wisteria wonder ink), rhinestones, labels collection framelits to cut out the sentiment, and pop up dots to raise the sentiment piece.
I originally got my inspiration from this card, on Splitcoast Stampers: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2347175?&cat=23822.

That's my share for today. Thanks for checking me out!
